Another Downloads update
The download system at all heavens has been updated to version 0.6.5.3.
Bugs fixed:- Advanced title search added a ‘C’ in front of the title to search on, which caused the “next” pages to fail.
- Submission text: changed ’”Edit” button’ to ’”Update” button’ and made a mention of WinXP’s built-in zip function
- Download admins can now choose to keep the review ratings when they move a file.
- New configuration flag: read-only mode, where file and comment submissions are disabled. Useful for archived sites.
Downloads Update
The download sections at all heavens have been updated to version 0.6.5.2. This release fixes two bugs:
- Email notifications to file authors for new comments and reviews didn’t work properly
- An infinite redirect loop when logging in has been eliminated
Downloads Update
The download sections at all heavens have been updated to version 0.6.5.1. Improvements and new features:
- Downloads staff now have a “staff” title below their name, like the “Official Reviewer” tag
- Added support for authors to opt-out of comment notifications. Users can opt-out via their forum account profile on the forums.
- Email notifications of comments and reviews to the file author now say that it’s an automatic email
- Admin: File update notification emails no longer (incorrectly) state that the file needs approval
By far the most important change is that email notifications are now by default turned off. You can enable them in your forum account profile.

Download Comments
Dear downloads section contributors,
An upcoming change will affect how you receive new comment notifications on your submitted file. If you wish to continue to receive new comments, it is imperative that you go to the “My Account” area in the forums, check th “Yes, I wish to receive notifications from the downloads system” option underneath your email address, and save the changes. This will ensure comment notifications are sent to you after the new update is installed.
If you do not wish to receive comment notifications, do nothing – once the new update is installed the notifications will not be sent.
